What's New?Compressible Core Teflon Gaskets
[Jul 09, 2008] Commonly used Cork-Buna gaskets used in petroleum and bulk liquid cargo tanks are no match for ethanol and today's fuel additives. Also, due to warped flanges on older tanks, it is nearly impossible to get a seal with klinger-type "hard" core fiber gaskets. Previous Teflon gaskets had hard cores that did not permit proper sealing between TTMA style flanges. The new Bayco "soft core" Teflon gasket provides the proven chemical
compatibility of Teflon along with the compression of the older style Cork-Buna gaskets.
